At our farm, we proudly raise Cornish Cross hybrid meat birds for a premium poultry experience. Whether you prefer them as fryers, broilers, or roasters, our chickens are moved twice daily to ensure an all-natural environment. This unique approach not only prioritizes the well-being of our birds but also results in a flavor that surpasses anything available in stores. About us

Welcome to Black Family Farm, where our roots run deep and our commitment to farming excellence spans generations. The story of our farm begins in the early 1960s when my late parents, Bob and Sherry Black, took the bold step of purchasing this beautiful piece of land.

Initially, it served as a tranquil vacation setting, but it wasn’t long before my father, a man with a green thumb and a love for the land, transformed it into a thriving agricultural haven. In those early years, my father dedicated himself to cultivating a vegetable garden that yielded an abundance of fresh produce. He raised beef, pork, and poultry to provide for our family, instilling in us a deep appreciation for sustainable farming practices.

The farm was also home to a picturesque orchard boasting 100 peach trees, from which my parents proudly sold their delicious harvest. As the years passed, the farm became a symbol of resilience, passed down through the generations. Today, it stands strong, a testament to the hard work and dedication of the three brothers who have upheld the Black family legacy.

Now, in my semi-retirement, I’ve chosen to embrace my lifelong passion for farming and continue the legacy left by my parents. Our farm is more than just a piece of land – it’s a manifestation of our commitment to fostering a connection with the land and providing our community with locally grown goodness.

Living out my dream of having a small farm brings immeasurable joy. There’s something magical about nurturing the growth of plants, raising animals, and sharing the bounties of our labor with others.
